The traditional kimono, worn by women and men, is considered the national costume of Japan. Originally, the term referred to all types of clothing, but it now specifically refers to the full-length, straight-lined robe with collars and full-length sleeves. This particular kimono is designed with a crane pattern on a navy background and includes a matching sash belt sewn into the sleeve. It measures 23" from shoulder to shoulder, 48" from sleeve to sleeve, and is 56" in length with a circumference of 59". Made in Japan from 100% cotton sateen, it is also machine washable for convenience.
